FYI…

Hi Everyone,

I hope November is going well for you so far. I just wanted to let you know about a panel discussion/reading that’s taking place in Toronto at the end of the month. I was honoured to be invited  and look forward to taking a little road trip to TO in a couple of weeks. For those of you in the ‘hood, it would be lovely to see you there, and if not, I am always an appreciative recipient of good calming bookish vibes on these nights that I masquerade as an extrovert. (Wink-wink to my fellow introverts out there, ha ha.)  ;-)

Anyway, happy to share the news!

Thanks for stopping by, as always, mes amis.

    1. Thanks so much, Lynn! I’m really looking forward to it. Having you there would have been so great! I would have treated you to a glass of wine. ;-) Thanks again for your kind words and enthusiasm. It means a lot!

    1. Thank you, Elaine!! I’m really looking forward to it. If my pics turn out I hope to post a little event wrap-up for everyone. :-) xo

    1. Thanks so much, Kas! I’m really looking forward to it. Toronto’s about a four hour drive from Ottawa, but a little road trip should be fun. I hope to post a little after-event blog, if my pics turn out, ha ha. ;-)

  1. Days like this make me wish we lived closer. I would love to come and support you! Sending bookish sister vibes your way! Have I mentioned what an inspiration you are to me? I appreciate your constant encouragement in writing and love our book club convos!

    1. Thank you, Book Sis! I wish that we lived closer too. Having you there would have been amazing! But I know you’ll be there in spirit. You inspire me too, not only to be a better reader and writer, but also a better person. Jeez, can you feel the love, ha ha! Thanks for your kind words and good vibes!!!

  2. Great news Anita – I love that area of Toronto. And I will be in Ottawa! First in Almonte at the end of this month and then reading at the British High Commissioner’s residence in early January. I’ll keep you posted!

    1. Thanks so much, Lindy! I’m looking forward to a little road trip and visiting some of my fave places in TO while there. Oh wonderful, I’m so happy that you’re coming to Ottawa. Count me in for your reading and yes please keep me posted! :-)

    1. Thanks so much, Janna! I can’t believe it’s happening next week. The event has been in the works for a few months now and the time in between has zipped by! Oh my gosh, I know what you mean, I’m not a public speaker by any means. I almost think of it as playacting, ha ha. Thanks again for stopping by!
